In the process of cone crushing, the crushing chamber is filled with block ore with ore particle size of 60-120mm, and the moving cone liner plate does not only slow rotation movement, but also does transverse stroke movement, and the crushing load on the liner plate is relatively large, including both circumferential load and radial load. Therefore, when there are defects listed below in the process of liner installation or crushing, it is easy to cause the failure of the moving cone liner, such as: the failure of the liner, the loosening of the locking screw and so on.
(1) When the liner is installed, it is not adjusted flat and correct, and it is tilted to one side. When it is broken, the load around the liner is uneven, easy to break, loose and fail.
(2) When the liner is installed, the contact surface between the moving cone and the moving cone liner is not clean, the coordination is not tight, the liner is loose when broken, and the crushing failure.
(3) When the liner is installed, the locking bolt is not fastened in place, the fastening strength is not enough, and the liner is loose and easy to break and fail during the crushing process.
(4) When the liner is installed, the pressing cutting ring above is not solidly welded, or the weld is worn and welded during the crushing process, and the liner is loose and easy to break and fail.
(5) The crushing process often enters the iron block, the hardness of the iron block is larger, the crushing load is increased, and the liner is easy to break and fail when it exceeds the rating of the liner plate.

According to the above analysis, the following corresponding treatment measures are taken: (1) When the liner is installed, adjust the flat and correct, so that the load around the liner is balanced and uniform when broken.
(2) When the liner is installed, the moving cone and the matching surface of the moving cone liner are thoroughly cleaned to make the contact and match closely.
(3) When the liner is installed, the locking bolt is fastened in place, the fastening strength is sufficient, and the liner is not easy to loose during the crushing process.
(4) When the lining plate is installed, the pressing cutting ring above is solidly welded with the lining plate. During the crushing process, check whether the weld is opened once per shift, and re-weld firmly if it is opened.
(5) In order to prevent the crushing chamber from often entering the iron block during the crushing process, a reasonable electromagnetic iron remover is installed at the head of the feeding belt to remove the iron block, so that the load of the lining plate in the crushing process is balanced and uniform.

After the lining plate is reasonably installed, after the electromagnetic iron removal device is installed on the head of the feeding belt, after the production crushing test, the iron block lining plate will not break, and can be used stably for half a month, crushing 100,000 tons of ore, improving the service life, greatly reducing the production cost, and ensuring the completion of the production task. After careful observation and analysis by professionals to the site, the problem is found and the cause is identified, and the failure of the cone breaking cone liner plate loosening and easy to break is relatively easy to deal with.
