As the core equipment of mining, building materials and other industries, the running state of jaw crusher is directly related to production efficiency and economic benefits. However, due to the harsh environment of crushing operation and long-term use, the jaw crusher is subjected to high strength impact and friction, and its wearing parts are prone to wear, fracture and other problems, which will not only affect the performance and efficiency of the equipment, but also may lead to the shutdown of the production line. Therefore, timely and regular inspection and replacement are needed to ensure the normal operation and production efficiency of the equipment.
Jaw crusher vulnerable parts include moving jaw plate, fixed jaw plate, side protection plate, elbow plate, bearing, spring rod and spring parts.
1. Fixed jaw plate
The jaw plate is the main working part of the jaw crusher, which bears the huge impact load. In the crushing process, the edge of the fixed jaw plate will produce serious wear, and its wear is mostly concentrated in the middle and lower part, which is due to the repeated impact and friction of the material in the crushing process. The fixed jaw plate shape is designed to be symmetrical up and down, so it can be turned around when one end of the fixed jaw plate is worn. In order to extend its service life, the fixed jaw plate generally uses materials with good hardness and wear resistance, such as high manganese steel, such as ZGMn13. The fixed jaw replacement cycle is generally about a few months to half a year, depending on the conditions of use, stone hardness and equipment load and other factors.
2. Side guard plate
The side guard plate is located on the left and right inside of the jaw crusher frame to protect the body of the jaw crusher. Under the impact of the material, the side guard will wear, when the wear of the side guard plate reaches a certain degree, it is necessary to replace the new side guard plate. The replacement cycle of the side guard plate is generally long, usually about half a year, according to the conditions of use and the working intensity of the crusher.
3. Elbow plate
The elbow plate is an important part of connecting the dynamic and fixed jaw plate, and it is also the insurance part of the crusher. When the crusher falls into the material that can not be broken and the machine exceeds the usual load, the elbow plate will be immediately broken, and the crusher will stop working, so as to avoid damage to the whole machine. The elbow plate needs regular inspection and replacement, and its replacement cycle is usually about half a year. Elbow plate and elbow pad adopt sliding contact mode, rarely friction under normal use, usually coated with a layer of grease on its contact surface.
4, spring rod and spring parts
As an important part of the jaw crusher, the spring tie rod mainly plays the role of connecting the adjustment seat and the back brace plate, and also can adjust the size of the discharge port and maintain the stability of the jaw plate. The spring part and the spring tie rod are matched, the main function is to fix the elbow plate, prevent the elbow plate from falling off, and absorb and buffer the vibration and impact in the crushing process, which has a good buffer and reduce the vitality. It can effectively reduce the impact damage to the machine during the crushing process. In actual operation, if the spring tie rod and spring parts are damaged or invalid, replace them in time to ensure the normal operation of the device. The replacement cycle of the spring tie rod and spring parts is generally about half a year, and the specific replacement cycle depends on the use conditions, work intensity and maintenance.
5. Bearing
The bearing of the jaw crusher adopts 4 sets of aligning roller bearings, which has good bearing capacity and automatic aligning performance. The bearing of the jaw crusher mainly bears the radial load when the equipment is working. Under long-term high load operation, the bearing will wear, and it is necessary to check and replace it regularly, replace the turning eccentric shaft and jaw mandrel, cast the babbitt alloy on the head of the connecting rod, and replace or repair the worn parts. In order to improve the service life of bearings, bearing materials with higher durability and bearing capacity can be used. The replacement cycle of bearings is generally more than one year, depending on the quality of bearings, conditions of use and maintenance.
